Holly Holm is slowly getting used to celebrity status after her upset knockout of Ronda Rousey.
She explains to KRQE News her awkward encounter with music superstars Jay Z and Beyoncé while attending a party the couple hosted.
“I meet Jay Z and he says ‘this is my wife’ and I say ‘oh hi what is your name?’ That is what I do when I meet someone’s wife. As I am shaking her hand I am thinking ‘why did I just say that… why did I just say that. It’s Beyoncé.’ And Jay Z’s asking me about the fight and I can’t even focus on what he’s saying because I just put my foot in my mouth.
