It was a different tone and mood during today's UFC 197 press conference (see it), which featured Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) title holders, Rafael dos Anjos, Conor McGregor and Holly Holm, as well as perennial contender, Miesha Tate.
Sure, McGregor was as brash as always, but it might have taken some reporters time to get used to the fact that a women's Bantamweight title bout was being promoted and Ronda Rousey -- the former division queen -- was not present.
For Tate, however, it was rather refreshing to not have to deal with the "drama" that comes with fighting Rousey a third time since the two have built up quite a heated rivalry over the last three years.
