Tony Bellew (30-2-1, 20 KOs) ensured history repeated itself as he knocked out David Haye (28-4, 26 KOs) in their rematch at the O2 Arena in London, England. After a complacent start by both men, they soon began to exchange heavy punches in the center of the ring, and it was Bellew who would prevail the victor, stopping Haye in the fifth round.
The Evertonian looked the sharper of the two in the beginning, beating Haye to a lot of the early exchanges. Haye seemed to learn from his mistakes in their first fight, as he looked to use his jab to setup his combinations, rather than trying to take Bellew out with power punches.
