Scottish Lightweight fighter Stevie Ray picked up an impressive win on home soil on Saturday (July 18, 2015) during the UFC Fight Night 72 card inside The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland.
Ray, who made his Octagon debut in April by defeating Marcin Bandel via knockout, looked to follow up that impressive performance by taking on the tough Leonardo Mafra (fight recap here) to kick off the first fight on FOX Sports 1. The 25-year-old Ray picked up his second-straight victory inside the Octagon with a first round technical knockout over "Macarrao."
The finishing sequence started off via a right hook by Ray as Mafra waded in carelessly, causing the Brazilian to stumble toward the cage.
