Texas-based mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion Legacy Fighting Championship, which recently produced a 19-year-old Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) prospect Sage Northcutt, returned live on AXS TV over the weekend (Fri. Oct. 2, 2015) with a seven-fight main card inside Allen Event Center in Allen, Texas.
The show's headliner featured a Bantamweight bout between grappler Steven Peterson (13-4) and Blackzilians-trained product Irwin Rivera (4-1). For 15 minutes, both warriors exchanged on the feet and on the ground, with the judges declaring Peterson, who was the aggressor for much of the main event, the winner via unanimous decision.
