Moments after capturing the Ultimate Fighting Championship flyweight title last month at UFC 227, Henry Cejudo called out the winner of the preceding bantamweight bout between T.J. Dillashaw and Cody Garbrandt. Dillashaw finished Garbrandt and accepted Cejudo’s challenge. Now that the dust has settled, Cejudo is full steam ahead in his pursuit of the “super fight.”
Cejudo talked to reporters backstage at UFC Fight Night 136 and believes Dillashaw and the UFC are down with the bout; it is just about negotiating the finer details including most importantly what weight class the fight will be competed at (via MMAjunkie):
“I believe (Dillashaw) wants to fight me, from what he has said to the media,” Cejudo told reporters.
