Former Bellator Middleweight Champion and current UFC Welterweight fighter Hector Lombard may be on a doping suspension, but won't let that stop him from staying busy.
Lombard is set to participate in a no-gi Five Grappling Super League card Aug. 2, 2015, in Solana Beach, California. Although "Lightning" is known for his heavy hands, the 37-year-old Cuban has a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and is a fourth-degree black belt in Judo, a skill he used to represent his country, Cuba, in the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.
Five Grappling Super League added Lombard to its growing list of grapplers in the tournament, which includes ADCC Submission Grappling World Champion Joao Assis and decorated American submission specialist James Puopolo.
