Olivier Aubin-Mercier isn’t sure what his MMA career next has in store for him.
“The Canadian Gangster” suffered his third straight loss last weekend at UFC 240 in Edmonton, Alberta, dropping a unanimous decision to Arman Tsarukyan.
Aubin-Mercier said in a statement Tuesday on social media that he is “heartbroken” as a result of his recent defeat.
“Three consecutive [losses] is not great, when you try to be the best in the world,” Aubin-Mercier wrote. “I was more than ready and was better than ever, [Tsarukyan] was simply the better man.”
Aubin-Mercier said because of his three-fight skid, he isn’t sure what’s going to happen next.
