Titan FC 39 will be anchored by a lightweight title clash between Pat Healy and Gesias Cavalcante on June 10 at Bank United Center in Coral Gables, Fla., the promotion announced Wednesday.
Healy once held the Titan FC 155-pound title but he was stripped of it on the scales prior to Titan FC 35 for missing weight. Rick Hawn toppled him the next day to claim the belt but when he retired from MMA, the belt was vacated, allowing Healy to get another shot. After losing four in a row inside the UFC’s Octagon, “Bam Bam” bounced back by winning three straight before losing to Hawn.
