Wladimir Klitschko vs. Tyson Fury really really sucked to watch, but the big picture is that Klitschko lost and suddenly the heavyweight division is a bit more interesting. British HW prospect Anthony Joshua kept his undefeated record intact with a violent uppercut finish of Dillan Whyte last week, and this week we saw Luis Ortiz become the first man to finish Bryant Jennings.
The 36-year-old Cuban (24-0-2 NCs, 21 KOs) improved to with a 7th round TKO over Bryant Jennings (19-2, 10 KOs) in a pretty entertaining contest in upstate New York. Ortiz hurt Jennings badly in rounds 1 and 3 but couldn't put him down, and the Philly native did well to rally back from rough spots to take rounds 2 and 4.
