Calgary, Alberta’s Hakeem Dawodu is heading to Ontario for his next matchup.
Officials announced Thursday that Dawodu will fight Kyle Bochniak in a featherweight bout at UFC 231 on Dec. 8 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto.
Dawodu picked up his first Octagon victory at UFC on FOX 30 in his hometown, winning a clear-cut decision over Austin Arnett. The 27-year-old rebounded from a 39-second submission loss in his UFC debut against Danny Henry and owns an 8-1-1 pro record overall. Prior to joining the UFC, he won a unanimous decision against then-44-fight veteran Steven Siler.
