A fighter was robbed on Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY and it wasn’t by the judges. Rising lightweight Gregor Gillespie dominated Yancy Medeiros for almost ten full minutes before getting the TKO stoppage with just one second left in round two. The win was his thirteenth straight over his unbeaten career, and his sixth straight inside the Octagon. Most likely a name opponent is on the horizon for the native upstate New Yorker.
However, despite all the positives taken away from Gillespie’s performance on January 19th, he still ended the night on a loss.
