it’s been a while, but all signs are pointing towards the greatest of all-time making his return.
Marcelo Garcia left the world of competitive jiu-jitsu fresh off an ADCC world title and a World Championship win in the gi. Realistically there is nothing left to prove for Garcia, but evidently the embers of competitiveness have been smoldering and the Brazilian is beginning the process of getting ready to step onto the mats.
Garcia went under the knife last week to remove bone spurs in his elbows, an injury that had bothered him for years. After hinting at a return over the past several months, the decision to clear up this annoying injury further solidifies Garcia’s intent to get back in competition shape.
