Chuck Liddell has been suspended indefinitely following his first round knockout loss to Tito Ortiz at Golden Boy MMA’s inaugural event this past Saturday.
The California State Athletic Commission released a full list of medical suspensions to MMAFighting.com on Wednesday. Golden Boy MMA took place at the Forum in Inglewood, Calif., on Nov. 24 and aired on pay-per-view. Ortiz knocked out Liddell 4:24 into the opening stanza of their headlining bout.
“The Iceman” must apply to have his indefinite suspension lifted by CSAC before he can compete again. Liddell, who turns 49 in December, wasn’t certain of his MMA future following his loss to Ortiz.
