UFC Fight Night 106 will proceed with 12 fights, as Godofredo Pepey vs. Kyle Bochniak was canceled five days before the event in Fortaleza, Brazil.
The UFC announced on Monday that both featherweights sustained injuries that forced them out of the March 11 card.
Pepey (13-4), the only Fortaleza native fighter scheduled to compete on the card, was looking for his sixth UFC win since 2012, being 4-1 in his last five fights. Bochniak (7-1) is 1-1 inside the Octagon, capped off by a split-decision win last August.
The Fight Night card in Fortaleza will be headlined by Vitor Belfort vs.
