GLORY 27 ended in arguably one of the most controversial and bizarre scenes in kickboxing history on Friday evening (February 26, 2016).
Simon Marcus (43-2-2) was crowned as new GLORY middleweight champion via disqualification after Artem Levin (50-5-2) refused to continue due to having a second point deducted by referee Al Wichgers in the third round inside Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
The official time of the stoppage was at 2:55 of the third round.
"I feel great; the fight was great; I worked for this," Marcus told Joseph Valtellini after the fight. I'm proud.
