Gina Carano: Last year I warned Dana White that Holly Holm was legit, but he laughed and blew it off

Former Strikeforce featherweight attraction, Gina Carano, was in negotiations with Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) back in 2014, as promotion president Dana White was trying to line up "super fights" for then-women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.

At the time, "Rowdy" was undefeated and seemingly invincible.

While mixed martial arts (MMA) fans were calling for a Holly Holm fight, not everyone in the ZUFFA front office agreed. White in particular, had a problem with the boxing champ's manager, which kept "The Preacher's Daughter" on the regional circuit for a few extra months.

"I remember talking to Dana White last year sometime in his office, he had the five top contenders in each weight class written on his office windows -- male and female -- and there were a couple names I couldn't for the life of me figure out, why they were not written down.
