UFC 258 is down to 10 bouts after a flyweight matchup between Gillian Robertson and Miranda Maverick was scratched from the card when Robertson fell ill.
Robertson came down with a non-COVID related illness, the UFC announced just hours before the start of Saturday’s card, and was forced to withdraw from the event. Her coach Din Thomas told MMA Fighting her withdrawal was not related to weight-cutting, but she “got really sick” and was unable to fight.
Robertson was returning to the octagon after a decision loss to Thaila Santos this past December that snapped a two-fight winning streak.
