Gilbert Burns isn’t someone who likes to turn down fights.
During a recent interview on Renato Carneiro’s YouTube channel, Burns was asked why he accepted a fight against Jack Della Maddalena at UFC 299
Burns responded by explaining why he accepted the fight against Maddalena, who has been victorious in his first six UFC appearances.
“That was an offer from [matchmaker] Sean Shelby. I´m not a guy who turn down fights because of ranking,” Burns said. “My thing is I lost my last fight, and I need to get back in the win column.
