"Filthy" Tom Lawlor returns to the Octagon after a two-year absence on July 25th, where he'll meet Gian Villante in a light heavyweight bout.
The fight was announced Thursday on UFC Tonight.
Lawlor (9-5, 1 NC) last appeared at UFC on Fuel 9 in April, 2013, where he submitted Michael Kuiper via second-round submission. The 31-year-old Providence native has won two of his past three fights. This marks his light heavyweight return after fighting at middleweight since 2009.
Villante (13-5), meanwhile, is on the hottest stretch of his UFC career, as he's won two straight and three of his past four.
