With Germaine de Randamie no longer the UFC women’s featherweight champion, her next fight will be back at bantamweight. UFC officials announced on Thursday that GdR is set to face Marion Reneau at UFC Fight Night: Rotterdam in the Netherlands on Saturday, September 2nd.
De Randamie (7-3) won the inaugural UFC women’s 145 title with a unanimous decision over Holly Holm in February. The expectation was that she’d defend her belt against Cris Cyborg, but the open refusal to do so essentially led to the UFC stripping her of the title.
