In mid-October, Georges St-Pierre first announced that he was no longer connected to any other organization, making him a free agent. The UFC, for their part, responded by confirming that GSP’s Zuffa contract is still active, and that he is still remains to be under the company.
But on Wednesday, the 35-year-old inactive fighter confirmed that he is indeed a free agent. Speaking on behalf of his legal team, St-Pierre claims they have supporting evidence to back it up.
"My lawyer (James Quinn) — he's the best in this kind of situation — he told me I'm a free agent.
