Former UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre explained what went down in his awkward post-UFC 167 meeting with UFC heads Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta.
Georges St-Pierre is one of the best fighters to step into the octagon, and his decision to step away from the sport two years ago led to a very awkward night after UFC 167. GSP had just won a controversial split decision over Johny Hendricks and in a post-fight interview, he stated that he needed a break from the sport. This apparently wasn't something that UFC president Dana White was a fan of, and it led to a heated discussion between GSP, White, and UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta backstage while the press conference was supposed to be taking place.
