Yet another MMA legend has been approached by the WWE about moving into their world.
Former two-division UFC champion Georges St-Pierre noted on a French language interview on TVA Sports that he has been approached by the pro wrestling promotion, which counts Brock Lesnar as one of its biggest stars, and featured Ronda Rousey in a prominent position over the last year.
St-Pierre said that the company approached him when he was attending ESPN’s ESPYS award ceremony this past July. St-Pierre and Rose Namajunas were both nominated for the the Best Fighter Award, which went to Terrence Crawford.
