The PPV drawing capabilities of Kazakh boxing standout Gennady Golovkin will soon be put to the test as he headlines a Madison Square Garden event this October against fellow middleweight KO artist David Lemieux.
Gennady Golovkin is 33-0 with 30 KOs and one of the most entertaining and fearsome hitters boxing has to offer. The reigning WBA middleweight (160 lbs) champion hasn't gone the distance since 2008, and his next fight isn't expected to break that streak. Golovkin will face IBF middleweight champion David Lemieux (34-2, 31 KOs) in the main event of an HBO pay-per-view at Madison Square Garden in New York on October 17th.
