Kazakh destroyer Gennady Golovkin, arguably the most feared and devastating man in the sport of boxing, returns to the ring this Saturday night (May 16, 2015) inside The Forum in Los Angeles, Calif., for the first time since demolishing Martin Murray.
In his way stands once-beaten southpaw Willie Monroe, Jr., who will make a bid for Golovkin's various titles in the main event of an HBO boxing doubleheader.
In the build up for their bout, SBNation got a look at Golovkin's preparations. See him work the pads with trainer Abel Sanchez, who is a significantly braver man than I am for willingly subjecting his hands to GGG's thunderous power.
