After a highlight reel worthy octagon debut, Justin Jaynes is making a quick turnaround in a different weight class.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed that Gavin Tucker will face Jaynes in a featherweight bout at the UFC’s event on Aug. 8 following an Instagram post from Jaynes earlier this week.
The card is scheduled to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas.
Tucker will make his fourth promotional appearance and looks to keep up his activity following a near two-year layoff. After suffering his first loss at UFC 215 in September 2017 to Rick Glenn, “Guv’nor” returned to action following an injury at UFC 240 in July 2019 to pick up a third-round submission win over Seung Woo Choi.
