In a major upset, British boxer Tyson Fury defeated long-reigning heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko by unanimous decision today in Germany.
It certainly wasn't pretty, but Tyson Fury has ended the Klitschko reign on top of boxing's heavyweight division. The 6'9 British fighter met Wladimir Klitschko in a stadium in Germany today, looking to take the heavyweight title away from him and hand him his first loss in 10 years. And he did exactly that, winning a unanimous decision.
The scores were 115-112, 115-112, and 116-111 for Fury.
It was not the most eventful title fight by any means.
