Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight champion Andrei Arlovski does not have a fight scheduled, while ex-PRIDE 265-pound titleholder Fedor Emelianenko doesn't even compete under the ZUFFA banner.
So then why did the world's largest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion release their 2009 hoss fight?
Because "The Last Emperor" will be making his UFC Fight Pass debut later this month when he collides with former UFC light heavyweight slugger Fabio Maldonado at the Eurasian Fight Night (EFN) 50 event in St. Petersburg, Russia (more on that here).
So for those combat sports fans who may have joined the party after the fact, UFC is releasing one of Emelianenko's more popular fights, which ended in stunning fashion in the very first round at Affliction: "Day of Reckoning.
