Believe it or not, it's been six years since Manny Pacquiao recorded a stoppage win. Granted, the corners of Chris Algieri and Antonio Margarito probably (no, definitely) should've protected their fighters far better than they actually did and just called those respective blowouts off, but this is a true statistic nevertheless.
On November 14th, 2009, Pacquiao faced the hard-hitting Puerto Rican Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for the WBO Welterweight Title (147 lbs). Cotto won the belt by beating Joshua Clottey, while Pacquiao came off a sensational one-punch KO of Ricky Hatton a few months prior.
