Freshly inspired by Fedor Emelianenko, Albert Tumenov readies for Lorenz Larkin

LAS VEGAS -- It's a fight week here in Sin City, and that means fighters will adhere to strict routines, ranging from what time they wake up to their media obligations to their weight cut.

Albert Tumenov, though, had to make an exception to his rituals. The native of Nalchik, Russia made it a point to get up early Thursday morning so he could watch the return of Fedor Emelianenko, who returned from a three-year retirement and defeated Jaideep Singh in Japan.

Maybe it won't rank up there with Emelianenko's greatest victories, but if it wasn't for The Last Emperor, Tumenov might have never gotten involved in the sport.
