On Thursday afternoon, Winn (5-0), a former collegiate All-American wrestler, took to Twitter to announce he had put ink to paper on a UFC contract.
In his most recent outing, Winn earned a dominant decision over former UFC veteran Tom Lawlor in the co-main event of Golden Boy Promotion’s inaugural mixed martial arts event in November. This not only kept his perfect record intact, but also marked his first bout to reach the judge’s scorecard.
The American Kickboxing Academy product previously earned four straight stoppages in various promotions, including a first-round TKO win over Ahmed White at Bellator 199.
