After the biggest victory of his career, Frankie Perez called it quits.
At UFC Fight Night 74, Perez knocked out one of his favorite fighter’s growing up, Canadian Sam Stout in just 54-seconds.
Following the win, Perez spoke to UFC commentator Jon Anik and announced his retirement, “I‘m done putting my family and my body through all this.”
Perez (10-2) was 9-1 coming into his UFC debut and lost his first outing in the Octagon against Johnny Case in January of this year. The 26-year-old has fought for WSOF and started his pro career under the Ring of Combat banner.
