Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir believes the current crop of heavyweights is the best that the promotion has ever had.
As a staple of the UFC"s roster for nearly 14 years, Frank Mir believes he has encountered several generations of heavyweights, none of which compare to the current crop that populates the promotion's heaviest weight class.
Currently in preparation for an intriguing match-up against fellow former champion Andrei Arlovski at UFC 191, Mir reflected on the division's history and how the current Top 15 in the list are a step ahead of the remaining field.
"I think this era right now is the best it's ever been," Mir told FOX Sports.
