Jon Jones at heavyweight? Frank Mir believes the best MMA fighter of all time would be able to make a pretty strong transition.
There is one matchup that has Mir, the former heavyweight champion, pumping the brakes on a bit, though.
“The only fight immediately that would make me nervous for Jon would be Stipe,” Mir told Ariel Helwani on Monday’s edition of The MMA Hour.
Stipe Miocic is the UFC heavyweight champion and is coming off consecutive knockouts of Fabricio Werdum, Alistair Overeem and Junior dos Santos.
