Bellator MMA will be holding an eight-man heavyweight Grand Prix, in which the winner will be crowned as the new division champion. This tournament will kick-off in January of the coming year and will feature some of the biggest names of the past and present.
This week, the first round of the tournament was announced, and one of the fights that were made is between former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir, and a man who has been touted as the greatest of all-time, Fedor Emelianenko.
In a recent interview with MMAjunkie Radio, Mir spoke about the opportunity that has been presented to him, and how he looks at a fight of such magnitude.
