Frank Grillo is well known for his action-movie chops with a physical acting career that spans numerous high-profile movies, including several Marvel films such as “Captain America: The Winter Soldier” and “Avengers: Endgame.”
In his new film “Boss Level,” Grillo gets to show off some of his comedic timing while working alongside Mel Gibson and Naomi Watts in a “Groundhogs Day” style film about a special forces officer who gets trapped in a never-ending time loop on the day of his death.
Speaking to MMA Fighting just before the film’s release last Friday, Grillo spoke about his work on “Boss Level” as well as consistently casting fighters in his movies including Rashad Evans and Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, who appear in this latest release.
