Former UFC welterweight Erick Silva signs with Bellator

After an unsuccessful UFC run, welterweight fighter Erick Silva has found a new home. On Thursday, the 34-year-old Brazilian confirmed via an Instagram post that he is now part of the Bellator roster of talents.

In another report by MMAjunkie, it was confirmed that Silva had just inked an exclusive multi-fight deal. His debut fight with the company is said to be scheduled late in the year.

Silva (20-9, with 1 NC and 17 wins by stoppage), made his UFC debut in 2011, with a first-round knockout win over Luis Ramos. He holds a notable victory over Josh Koscheck in 2015, whom he defeated via first-round submission.
