In early August, Cain Velasquez made his professional wrestling debut at AAA Triplemania XXVll in Mexico. A month later, he made his United States debut in New York City for the same promotion’s show at Madison Square Garden.

Apparently, the former UFC heavyweight champion could be headed for pro wrestling’s biggest show. According to ESPN’s Marc Raimondi, the 37-year-old American Kickboxing Academy standout is in talks with the WWE and All-Elite Wrestling (AEW).

“AAA and New Japan Pro-Wrestling could also be in play for Velasquez, sources said. AEW and AAA have a talent-sharing agreement.
