Former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar issued one-year suspension by USADA

Former UFC heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar, has received a one year suspension after testing positive for the banned substance clomiphene in an out-of-competition drug test around the time of UFC 200.

Clomiphene is also one of the substances Jon Jones tested positive for around the same time. It’s a prescription medication usually given to women having trouble conceiving, but in recent years has become popular as an alternative to TRT for men with low testosterone, as it can double natural testosterone levels.

Despite clomiphene’s ability to increase testosterone, clomiphene is not classed as an anabolic agent.
