Bellator has added another former UFC fighter to its roster.
Sam Sicilia will be joining Bellator’s 145-pound division after signing a multi-fight deal with the promotion. The news was first reported on Wednesday by MMA Junkie and was then confirmed by MMA Fighting’s Ariel Helwani. Sicilia’s Bellator debut is yet to be determined.
The 31-year-old fighter last competed at UFC Fight Night 105 back in February where he lost to undefeated UFC newcomer Gavin Tucker in a unanimous decision. Sicilia, who participated in season 15 of The Ultimate Fighter, competed inside the Octagon for five years, compiling a record of 5-7.
