Like “Money” said, it’s time to forget about 2016.
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight champion Robbie Lawler recently parted ways with American Top Team (ATT), one of the premiere mixed martial arts (MMA) gyms in all of combat sports.
Lawler, 34, hasn’t indicated the reason for his change, first reported by ENT Imports, and the “Ruthless” slugger has yet to book a return fight since coughing up his 170-pound strap last July.
The welterweight who usurped the throne, Tyron Woodley, also competes under the ATT banner; however, “The Chosen One” is based out of the Missouri location as opposed to South Florida.
