Former UFC champ Holly Holm joins Guinness World Records 2017 Edition

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight, Holly Holm, can add another accolade to her long list of combat sports accomplishments, recently securing a spot in the 2017 edition of Guinness World Records.

Holm became the first athlete to win world titles in both boxing and mixed martial arts (MMA), the latter happening at UFC 193 when “The Preacher’s Daughter” knocked out Ronda Rousey with a second-round head kick.

First published in 1955, Guinness World Records “is the universally recognized global authority on record-breaking achievement” and covers everything from the world’s fattest twins (Billy and Benny McCrary) to the richest cat on the planet (Blackie).
