This fight will be contested at a catchweight of 128-pounds.
Mangat (7-1) started out his pro career on a four-fight winning streak, but was halted for a second, with a third round TKO loss to Josh Gow at BFL 25. Since that set-back “Saint Lion” has won three-in-a-row, with all three finishes via rear-naked choke submission. Most recently the Tristar fighter defeated Hector Lopez at SFL 40: America 4 in April.
Wood (5-4) trains out of Sports Lab in Portland, Oregon and will be making his BFL debut in this outing. “The Demon” has yet to go to the judges scorecards whether he wins or loses.
