In a surprising turn of events, former Middleweight champion, Chris Weidman has announced that he will be returning to the octagon with a bout being targeted for March 30th on the Fight Night show in Atlantic City. Weidman at one time was considered the most talented middleweight on the planet and will go down in history as the man to dethrone one of the greatest of all time, Anderson Silva from his pedestal atop the middleweight division.
Still, since winning the belt in 2013 Weidman’s career did not go exactly to plan, after two successful defences of his championship, Weidman would drop the belt to Luke Rockhold in 2015 at UFC 194.
