Will Brooks and his championship pedigree are getting a look from the WWE.
The sports entertainment organization announced that the former Bellator lightweight titleholder is taking part in a talent tryout at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Fla., this week.
Brooks, 33, most recently competed at a Battlefield FC show in July, where he lost to fellow UFC veteran Gleison Tibau by first-round submission. Per the release, Brooks is one of over 40 athletes invited to participate in the WWE’s third and last tryout of 2019.
“Ill Will” is a veteran of Bellator, the UFC, and the PFL with a 20-5-1 pro record.
