Former unified heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (27-0, 19 KOs) won a comfortable 100-90 ten-round unanimous decision over Francesco Pianeta (35-5-1, 21 KOs) at a rainy Belfast Park in Northern Ireland. A slimmed down Fury certainly looked and moved a lot better than he did vs. Sefer Seferi a couple of months back, all while simultaneously turning in a performance that was anything but exciting or involving drama.
The good news out of that fight is that he got his rounds in, came away unscathed, and now the cat is out of the bag that he will be taking on WBC heavyweight champ Deontay Wilder (40-0, 39 KOs) in Las Vegas, Nevada.
