Floyd Mayweather Jr. sounds like he’s getting a little tired of hearing about Conor McGregor.
“The Conor McGregor fight, I don’t know if it’s going to happen,” the undefeated boxing superstar told ESPN on Tuesday. “If it do, it do, if it don’t, it don’t. They ask me about this fight always.”
So Mayweather has a message for the only fighter ever to simultaneously hold two different UFC weight class titles: If he wants to box Mayweather, it’s time to make the fight happen.
The back and forth between Mayweather and McGregor in recent weeks has attracted more attention than anything else in either boxing or mixed martial arts has been able to command.
