Floyd Mayweather took on Japanese kickboxing prodigy Tenshin Nasukawa at Rizin 14. It was billed as a three round exhibition, but turned into a quick one-sided beating against an overmatched opponent. (Video here)
The 50-0 professional boxer was always going to be the massive favorite as he faced a significantly smaller 20-year-old who has never boxed professionally. Mayweather came in and made it look easy, hurting the Japanese fighter with each punch, and dropping him three times in the very first round. Nasukawa’s corner eventually threw in the towel to protect their young fighter.
The bout won’t count on either man’s records, but Mayweather says he made a good amount of money during the lopsided affair.
