Floyd Mayweather on Rizin bout: Did I have a training camp? No

Floyd Mayweather outclassed Tenshin Nasukawa and stopped him in the very first round on Rizin’s new year’s eve event in Japan.

The 50-0 boxer was always going to be a massive favorite over the much smaller, 20-year-old kickboxer, but he still made it look easy. Mayweather, who was noticeably bigger than his last few professional bouts, also says that he didn’t really train much for this exhibition boxing match.

“Did I have a training camp for this fight? No,” Mayweather said during the post-fight press conference. “I went to the gym a few times and moved around with Daquan (Mays), a young champion on the rise.
